Internet Torches ‘Dumb’ Eric Trump For Citing Disney’s ‘Pocahontas’ Movie To Defend Dad’s Racism
Eric Trump is being dragged and tossed around the internet for defending his father’s racial slur against Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA), who he called “Pocahontas” during an event to honor Native American veterans, by citing a Disney movie of the same name.
The president’s son suggested on Twitter Tuesday morning that it was hypocritical for people to claim calling someone “Pocahontas” was offensive when Disney made a popular movie called Pocahontas, a 1995 animated movie that was about the actual historical figure Pocahontas.
The tweet sparked an avalanche of fiery comments on the social media platform.
Read Eric Trump’s tweet and some of the responses below:
The irony of an ABC reporter (whose parent company Disney has profited nearly half a billion dollars on the movie “Pocahontas”) inferring that the name is “offensive” is truly staggering to me.

You’re thinking too hard.

Are you actually this dumb or is it just an act to appear this dumb?

That's not irony. It's a non-sequitor.
The movie was a dramatization about an actual historical figure.
Your bigoted father uses the term as a racist slur against a sitting Senator whenever he thinks about or talks to Native Americans.

the irony of an ineffectual son (whose parent has profited nearly a million dollars on fraudulent charities set up through family foundations) inferring that the company affiliation of a reporter is disqualifying is truly staggering to me

Dude, long division is staggering to you.

Lmao, you sure are a bright one.

Disney told the story of Pocahontas. Your dipshit father used her name to try to trash talk someone, in turn, insulting an entire culture of proud people. You actually don't get that? Put a helmet on.

you get truly staggered by the presence of marshmallows in your lucky charms

Eric you can’t even breathe with your mouth closed. Stop trying to understand irony.

I truly do believe that this is an actual thought you had.

OMG, do you have any thinking skills? Do you understand the word "context"? Look it up.
