Multiple Deputies Down In ‘Active Shooter’ Incident In Denver, Colorado
Multiple deputies were shot early Sunday after police responded to a call of an active shooter situation in a residential area south of Denver, according to the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office.
The incident occurred in Highlands Ranch, about 20 miles south of Denver.
“Any citizens in the affected area are instructed to shelter in place, avoid windows and stay away from exterior walls.”
“Update, we have multiple deputies down, no update on their status. The scene remains active and please avoid the area,” the sheriff’s office said on Twitter.
