Las Vegas Shooter Was A Trump Supporter, Report Reveals
A new report reveals that Stephen Paddock, the man who murdered 58 people in Las Vegas last month, was a Donald Trump supporter.
According to Clark County Sheriff Joe Lombardo who spoke with KLAS, a local CBS affiliate in Las Vegas, Paddock was a fan of Trump and was attracted by his politics because of the boost the stock market.
Paddock said “he was happy with Trump because the stock market was doing well,” Lombardo said.
Lombardo said Paddock had no affiliation or communication with terrorist or extremist organizations and is there no proof that he went overseas or met with any extremist groups.
According to Lombardo, authorities have yet to figure out what Paddock’s motive was. They don’t know what led to Paddock choosing October 1 as the date for his rampage, or why he chose the Route 91 Harvest festival as his target.
