Ryan Disses Trump In Private Meeting, Admits Trump’s Wall Stands No Chance
A close source to House Speaker Paul Ryan said on Tuesday that the Republican leader said at a private dinner that Donald Trump’s wall will not be built because “only one member” approves of it.
Rep. Tom Tancredo (R-CO) spoke with Breitbart and said that Ryan stated that only “one member” of the House GOP wanted to build the wall.
Tancredo tried to “clear up” what Ryan meant by saying:
“Of course he means only one person in his entourage and of the leadership,” Tancredo said of Ryan’s comments. “I know several people in Congress who want a wall and I know that there are millions of Americans who want a wall.”
Ryan has not denied nor confirmed the comments about the president’s border wall.
