Samuel L. Jackson Slams Trump With ‘Pulp Fiction’ Reference In Ad For Georgia Dem
Samuel L. Jackson, civil rights activist and Hollywood star, has decided to get involved in helping to get people involved.
The Hollywood star appeared in a new radio ad that references “Pulp Fiction” to urge citizens to vote for Democrat Jon Ossoff in next week’s Georgia House special election.
“Your vote goes a long way towards setting things right in this country. Vote for the Democratic Party. Stop Donald Trump, the man who encourages racial and religious discrimination and sexism,” Jackson says in the ad, which was created by the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC).
“Remember what happened the last time people stayed home: we got stuck with Trump.”
Jackson made a reference to a quote his “Pulp Fiction” character recites multiple times in the film, calling on voters to “channel the great vengeance and furious anger” they have for Trump.
The ad is set to run on Atlanta-based urban contemporary stations starting Saturday until the Tuesday election.
The former Democratic congressional staffer is predicted to win the election on Tuesday, in which he’s by far the leading Democrat in a field with a large number of Republicans.
