Scottish Authorities Just Objected Trump’s Plan To Build Golf Course: Report
According to a recent report, Donald Trump’s plan to build a second 18-hole golf course at the Trump International Golf Links in Scotland has been halted by two Scottish environmental agencies.
The Scottish Environmental Protection Agency (SEPA) spoke to Trump’s company and that its plan to build another golf course would violate sewage pollution, according to The Guardian.
Scottish Natural Heritage (SNH) also gave Trump bad news, saying that the plans could breach national planning policy and the national marine plan because of the proposed course’s location in the area’s dune system.
“It remains likely that in future coastal-edge dynamism would repeatedly disrupt and increasingly threaten elements of the golf course (whether tees, greens or areas stabilized to support them),” SNH said, according to The Guardian.
