Springsteen’s New Anti-Trump Song Is The Epitome Of Resisting The Orange Man
One of Rocks biggest stars Bruce Springsteen has just released a new anti-Trump song called “That’s What Makes Us Great.”
Springsteen’s new tune was made with one of his frequent collaborators Joe Grushecky.
Grushecky spoke with the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette and stated that the song was written after Trump’s inauguration in January.
“I had this song, and Bruce and I had been talking,” Grushecky said.
“I sent it to him and he liked it. I said, ‘What do you think about singing on it?’ He gave it the Bruce treatment.”
The song has a catchy feel to it and Trump could learn a lot from it.
“And don’t you brag to me/That you never read a book/I never put my faith/In a con man and his crooks.”
“It’s up to me and you/Love can conquer hate/I know this to be true/That’s what makes us great.”
Springsteen endorsed Clinton during the presidential campaign and has also been a huge Trump critic.
