Trump Is Having a Nervous Breakdown On Twitter Right Now, And The Responses Are Brutal
To say that Donald Trump is having a terrible day on Twitter is an understatement. The erratic president began his Sunday with an early-morning tweetstorm, ranting against his favorite targets: the media and Hillary Clinton. And he’s still going at it.
“I never asked Comey to stop investigating Flynn. Just more Fake News covering another Comey lie!” the president tweeted about James Comey, the former FBI director, and Michael Flynn, his former national security adviser.
The tweet refers to questions as to whether the president attempted to obstruct justice. Flynn pleaded guilty last week to lying to the FBI.
Trump followed that with a tweet that endorsed his favorite news program on a major network, “Fox & Friends.”
“Tainted (no, very dishonest?) FBI ‘agent’s role in Clinton probe under review.’ Led Clinton Email probe. @foxandfriends Clinton money going to wife of another FBI agent in charge.”
The tweet was an apparent reference to a Fox report about Peter Strzok.
Trump also recycled one of his favorite campaign points, Clinton and her emails.
“Many people in our Country are asking what the ‘Justice’ Department is going to do about the fact that totally Crooked Hillary, AFTER receiving a subpoena from the United States Congress, deleted and ‘acid washed’ 33,000 Emails? No justice!”
Trump then drew a comparison, as he has before, between alleged crimnes committed by his friends and allies and the former Democratic presidential candidate.
“So General Flynn lies to the FBI and his life is destroyed, while Crooked Hillary Clinton, on that now famous FBI holiday ‘interrogation’ with no swearing in and no recording, lies many times … and nothing happens to her? Rigged system, or just a double standard?”
The Sunday morning meltdown followed a string of tweets late Saturday, aimed at both the media and another of his favorite targets, his defeated 2016 foe Hillary Clinton.
“Congratulations to @ABC News for suspending Brian Ross for his horrendously inaccurate and dishonest report on the Russia, Russia, Russia Witch Hunt. More Networks and ‘papers’ should do the same with their Fake News!”

Twitter users were compelled to respond and it was brutal. Read some highlights below:
Resign, dude. You know and we know you'd rather be golfing than dealing with the mess you've created.

Or perhaps the only reason you're calling CNN fake news is because they're exposing the truth about you and you don't like the truth.

Stop talking. No one believes you. You do realize you are fact checked and your "truth" percentage is pathetic.

Ok, think I've got it: you ordered Flynn to tell Russians that sanctions would not be enforced and you fired Comey because of the Russia thing ie. FBI investigation. So who's lying?!?
