‘Muller Charges Are Just The Beginning’: Sen. Angus King Sends Chills Across Trumpland
Appearing on CNN’s “State of the Union” on Sunday, Sen. Angus King (I-ME) said that the revelation that a federal grand jury has approved charges in special counsel Robert Mueller’s Russia probe is “really just the beginning,” and suggested that those under investigation should be concerned.
“Like everyone else in Washington, I’ll be watching tomorrow to see what comes out of the Mueller investigation, King told host Jake Tapper. “But I think it’s important to emphasize that this, whatever it is, is really just the beginning. And I’m sure there will be additional evidence.”
King went on to say that special counsel Robert Mueller is “a pro” and that “he’s going to follow the facts where they lead.” Watch the interview in the video below, via CNN:
