WATCH: Kellyanne Conway Inadvertently Calls For Trump To Resign
While trying to distance herself from the Roy Moore controversy during a Sunday interview on NBC, Kellyanne Conway had a brief moment of truth and said anyone who has mistreated a woman or a girl should resign from office, inadvertently making the case for President Trump’s resignation.
“Let me say it one last time,” the alternative facts guru and White House senior adviser began saying. “The conduct as described is not just offensive and disgusting, it disqualifies anyone who has done it from holding public office. So let me go a little step farther if there’s anyone currently in public office who has behaved that way to any girl or any woman, maybe they should step aside, because, in a country of 330 million people, we ought to be able to do better than this.”
If Conway really believes that anyone currently in public office should step down for sexually assaulting women, then she just called for President Access Hollywood Tape to resign. Conway was trying to distance the White House from Roy Moore, but she actually did was make it the official White House position that Donald Trump should resign.
During the interview, Conway also defended President Trump’s bizarre “short and fat” attack on North Korea dictator Kim Jong-Un, saying that it was in response to an earlier insult by the North Korean leader, who called Trump “old.”
No one is really sure what it is that Kellyanne Conway does in the White House outside of lying for Trump on television and ride on private jets at the taxpayers’ expense. So to go on national television and boldly state criteria that would require Trump to resign is probably a sign that her brain can’t handle more lies and is forcing her to tell the truth.
Yes, Donald Trump should resign.
