Donald Trump’s unpopularity and the way he runs his mouth is costing him millions of dollars. On Thursday another charity has decided to cancel their event at Trump’s Mar-a-Lago resort. This makes it the 18th charity to cancel in the past week.
The Bethesda Hospital Group decided to cancel a luncheon on Thursday at Trump’s Mar-a-Lago resort.
According to Share Blue Media, Trump’s response to the white supremacists who marched on Charlottesville, VA and killed 32-year-old Heather Heyer, has been the main reason charities have been pulling out of hosting their events at his properties.
“A week ago, the renowned Cleveland Clinic announced it was canceling its 2018 fundraiser at Mar-a-Lago, and The Washington Post reports that the number of charities that have abandoned Trump is now 17, all coming after Trump described white supremacists and neo-Nazis as ‘fine people,’” wrote Oliver Willis, who filed before news broke about the Bethesda group.
According to the report, Trump is potentially losing anywhere from $2.1 dollars to $4.3 million due to the charities dropping events.
