After Attacking NY And California, Trump Demands They ‘Politely’ Ask Him For Help On Homeless Issue

In an apparent attempt to turn the spotlight away from his impeachment, President Donald Trump on Saturday blasted New York and California over homelessness, saying the states’ governors should call him if they “can’t handle” the problem.

“California and New York must do something about their TREMENDOUS Homeless problems. They are setting records!” he tweeted about the liberal states.

“If their Governors can’t handle the situation, which they should be able to do very easily, they must call and ‘politely’ ask for help. Would be so easy with competence!” Trump ranted.

Last week, Trump slammed California over homelessness and invoked Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) amid their impeachment feud.

“Crazy Nancy should focus on that in her very down district, and helping her incompetent governor with the big homeless problem!” he tweeted.

Trump and the Democratic governors, Andrew Cuomo of New York and Gavin Newsom of California, have exchanged criticisms in the past, and the president has previously cited homelessness in California.
