As season 42 of “Saturday Night Live” comes to a close Alec Baldwin kills it once again playing the role of Donald Trump.
The opening act is a tribute to the famous song written by Leonard Cohen, “Hallelujah.”
The scene starts off with Baldwin playing the piano as Trump, then one-by-one the cast starts to come into scene. Kate McKinnon joins in as Kellyanne Conway, Beck Bennet joins in as Mike Pence, Aidy Bryant joins as deputy press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders and a grim reaper Steve Bannon later joins in the singing as well.
Even Scarlett Johansson came in as the role of Ivanka Trump.
At the end of the sing-along monologue Baldwin says, “I’m not giving up because I didn’t do anything wrong. But I can’t speak for any of these people,” as he points to the cast behind him.
