A former classmate of Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh has submitted a sworn statement to the FBI claiming that Brett Kavanaugh used to regularly disparage Stone Ridge School of the Sacred Heart student Renate Dolphin — a direct contradiction of what he told the Senate under oath.
The classmate says that he personally heard Kavanaugh, “talk about Renate many times” and that “the impression I formed at the time from listening to these conversations where Brett Kavanaugh was present was that Renate was the girl that everyone passed around for sex,” The New Yorker reports.
The classmate also says that Kavanaugh even made up a song about Renate Dolphin, mocking her supposed promiscuity.
“Brett Kavanaugh had made up a rhyme using the REE NATE pronunciation of Renate’s name,” he told the publication. “REE NATE, REE NATE, if you want a date, can’t get one until late, and you wanna get laid, you can make it with REE NATE.”
During his Senate testimony, Kavanaugh denied that he and his classmates were making any sexual insinuations when they referred to themselves as “Renate alumni” in their yearbook.
“He lied,” the classmate said about Kavanaugh.
Dolphin, however, says that she’s incredibly hurt by the reference to her in their yearbook — and has withdrawn her endorsement of Kavanaugh for the Supreme Court.
There you have it. Republicans are about to reward an accused sexual assaulter who lied to Congress under oath with a seat in the Supreme court.
