Another One Bites The Dust: Top White House Adviser Calls It Quits

White House staffers are falling like dominos. On Tuesday, The Hill reported that top White House communications adviser Josh Raffel will leave his post in the coming months.

Raffel, who has close ties with Donald Trump’s daughter Ivanka and her husband Jared Kushner, will be leaving the administration in the next few months, according to a White House official.

“Josh’s guidance was invaluable. The White House won’t be the same without him,” Ivanka Trump said in a statement.

“Josh has been a trusted partner as we worked to enact the president’s economic agenda and passed historic tax reform,” said National Economic Council Director Gary Cohn. “He is focused and thoughtful in our day-to-day operations and in driving a policy roll-out, and he will be missed.”

Raffel’s exit comes as Kushner continues to fail to obtain a permanent security clearance. On Tuesday it was announced that his security clearance had been downgraded from Top Secret to Secret.
