As Puerto Rico Begs Trump For Help He Decides To Take Vacation
Puerto Rico is going through a major crisis right now and they need all the help they can get. But, Donald Trump has decided to take a trip to his Bedminster, New Jersey National Golf Club.
Trump seems to care less for the people in need in the U.S. territory. He stated on Friday that things in Puerto Rico have “been incredible, the results we’ve had with respect to loss of life. People can’t believe how successful that has been, relatively speaking.”

It speaks a lot about the kind of person Trump is that he calls a tragedy “incredible.” Puerto Rico has already lost at least 16 lives and they are out of water, food, and electricity.
“I know it is really a good news story in terms of our ability to reach people and the limited number of deaths that have taken place in such a devastating hurricane,” acting Department of Homeland Security Secretary Elaine Duke said on Thursday.
In response, Carmen Yulin Cruz, the mayor of the capital of Puerto Rico, slammed the Trump administration for calling it a “good news story.”
“Damn it, this is not a good news story,” Carmen Yulin Cruz told CNN angrily on Friday. “This is a ‘people-are-dying story.’ This is a life-or-death story.”
People are in desperate need of help, they are dying, and all Trump can do is take a golfing trip. Despicable!
