Biden Issues Blistering Response To Trump’s ‘Many Sides’ Remarks
Former Vice President Joe Biden blasted President Trump’s comments that “many sides” led to violence at a white supremacist rally Saturday.
The white supremacists had gathered in Charlottesville for a “Unite the Right” rally to protest the removal of a Confederate statue when violence broke out. A white supremacist intentionally drove a car into a crowd of counter-protesters at the rally, leaving one dead.
However, Trump had refused to call out the white supremacists in his condemnation of the violence there.
“We condemn this egregious display of hatred, bigotry, and violence on many sides, on many sides,” Trump said.
Biden took to Twitter to shut down Trump’s hypocritical remarks:
“There is only one side. #charlottesville,” Biden tweeted.
There is only one side. #charlottesville

Biden condemned the attack earlier, saying that “racism and hate have no place here.”
