Attorney General William Barr has proved over the past few weeks that he isn’t here to serve the American people, instead, he is here to protect Donald Trump and it’s about to cost him.
On Wednesday, the House Judiciary voted to hold Barr in contempt with a 24 to 16 vote. This means that the contempt resolution will now move to the floor of the House of Representatives for its final vote.
The committee’s chair, Rep. Jerry Nadler, spoke to reporters after the vote. “[Barr] proved himself to be the personal attorney to President Trump rather than the Attorney General of the United States.”
“We are now in a Constitutional crisis,” Nadler concluded.
