President Trump on Friday declared the War on Christmas is officially over during a barrage of recycled talking points before the Value Voters Summit in Washington, DC.
In his speech, which was anchored around freedom of religion, Trump bragged that “we’re saying Merry Christmas again” as the world closes in on the holiday season.
“We’re getting near that beautiful Christmas season that people don’t talk about anymore, they don’t use the word Christmas because it is not politically correct,” Trump said. “Well guess what, we’re saying Merry Christmas again.”
The good news for everyone is that we still have 73 shopping days left for people to go around and say “Merry Christmas” to their heart’s desire.
