Border Patrol Chief Announces Retirement Party At Trump’s ‘Lavish’ Golf Club, Putting More Money In Trump’s Pockets
Donald Trump is continuing to profit from his presidency and despite all of that, nothing is being done to stop it.
A new report by Quartz revealed on Friday that U.S. Border Patrol deputy chief Scott Luck is about to make Trump more money by holding a retirement party at the Trump National Golf Club located in Potomac Falls, Virginia.
According to Quartz, tickets to the event will cost people at least $75.
Sources familiar with the invitation tell Quartz that fliers advertising the event are hanging up all over the wall of the Border Patrol headquarters, and that a formal announcement for the event was sent out to Border Patrol employees via government email.
Trump has been receiving backlash lately for using his presidency to profit his business.
Both Vice President Mike Pence and Secretary of State Mike Pompeo this week delivered remarks at a Concerned Women for America event that was held at Trump’s flagship D.C. hotel, where tickets were being sold starting at $99 a piece.
