A police officer in Oklahoma launched a racist threat on professional football players who have protested anti-black police brutality by kneeling during the national anthem, News On 6 reports.
Writing on Facebook, officer Brandon Jarvis threatened, “Precisely why I don’t watch NFL bunch of f*ckin overpaid greasy headed moon crickets expecting everything for nothing!! It would make my day to b*tch slap the Jerry juice outta everyone of them’s hair!! F*ck em!! #sorrynotf*ckinsorry”
When authorities were alerted about the post, Police Chief Jack Shackleford said that the officer would not be suspended. According to Shackleford, Jarvis will instead receive “some personal counseling by me in the use of social media.”
“If he is saying that his account was hacked, I don’t have any evidence to substantiate either claim,” Shackelford said in a statement.
You read that right. Jarvis will be spared punishment and instead receive “social media counseling” after threatening protesting NFL players on Facebook.
