Donald Trump has been making money off his properties since taking office back in January, but one of his properties has not been doing so well.
According to the Washington Post, the Trump National Golf Course Los Angeles has faced a 13 percent year-over-year drop in greens fees since Trump took office.
The course has lost business from charities, who looked to sway away from holding events at such a controversial venue. In addition, the course has not held a wedding reception since the 2016 elections, which is odd because it used to be a popular destination for weddings.
To add to Trump’s troubles, the course has also lost business from hollywood filmmakers. The Post found records that show Hollywood studios have “largely stopped” using the club as a shooting location.
“It’s just dead all the time,” said Richard Sullivan, a 59-year-old doctor who used to more frequently attend the Trump golf course.
Sullivan spoke with the Post and said that he feels “like I’m cheating on my wife,” for going to the golf course after his wife told him to stay away from any Trump properties all together.
Post reporter David Fahrenthold tried reaching Eric Trump for further comments, he was denied.
“David — please stop reaching out to me,” said Eric Trump.
