Clintons And Obamas Receive Threatening Packages That Include Explosives: Report

Early Wednesday morning, the Clintons and the Obamas received packages that were very peculiar. It was initially reported that an “improvised explosive device” was found near the house belonging to the Clintons in Chappaqua, New York. Just a few hours later, the Obamas received a similar package that had to be intercepted by U.S. Secret Service.

According to NY1 reporter Myles Miller, suspicious packages were found near the home of the Clintons. After authorities investigated the package they found that it contained IED.

FBI New York’s Twitter account issued a brief statement on the state of the investigation.

“We are aware of a suspicious package found in the vicinity of the Clinton residence in Chappaqua, NY, and our JTTF has engaged with our federal, state and local partners to investigate,” FBI New York wrote. “As this is an on-going investigation, we will have no further comment at this time.”

A suspect for who planted the suspicious packages near the two former presidents’ houses has yet to be identified.
