CNN Just Fired Conservative Jeffrey Lord Over Nazi Salute Tweet

CNN has now parted ways with conservative commentator Jeffrey Lord after tweeting out “Seig Heil!” to Media Matters’ Angelo Carusone.

A CNN spokesperson said that Lord’s actions will not be tolerated and have announced he is no longer with the network.

“Nazi salutes are indefensible,” the spokesperson said in the statement, according to CNN Monday. “Jeffrey Lord is no longer with the network.”

Lord’s tweet came in response to a message by Carusone that pointed out the Donald Trump supporter misspelled her name in a column.

The Trump-loving Lord responded to Carusone by saying “Seig Heil!”
