Colbert Just Made Spicer’s Briefings Into An Actual Soap Opera. Take A Look!

Donald Trump was asked last week if he would fire White House press secretary Sean Spicer. He gave a typical Trumpesk response:

“I’m not firing Sean Spicer. That guy gets great ratings. Everyone tunes in.”

According to the Washington Post, “Trump even likened Spicer’s daily news briefings to a daytime soap opera, noting proudly that his press secretary attracted nearly as many viewers.”

As a result, “Late Show” host Stephen Colbert decided to make Spicer’s daily briefings into an actual soap opera, calling it “The Bold and the Babbling.”
