Sheriff David Clarke Caught Plagiarizing His Master’s Thesis On Homeland Security

President Donald Trump seems to have an affinity for people who are accused of plagiarism. From Betsy Devos to Supreme Court Justice Neil Gorsuch, and now unhinged Sheriff David Clarke.
Clarke, who said this week he has accepted a job as assistant secretary in the Department of Homeland security, was caught red-handed after he plagiarized portions of his master’s thesis at the Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey, California, CNN reported Sunday.
The fraudulent thesis has been removed from the Naval Postgraduate School website, according to the report.

The report said that Clarke, the sheriff of Milwaukee County, Wisconsin, used language from sources without properly attributing them or using quotation marks.
Clarke campaigned for Trump during the 2016 election and has been one of his most prominent supporters since the election. Clarke has become a controversial figure for comments including calling Black Lives Matter a hate group.
You’ve been hit back, smooth criminal!
