Dayton Mayor Just Brilliantly Trolled Trump After He Mistook Her City For Toledo
Dayton Mayor Nan Whaley subtly went after Donald Trump on Monday after the president mistook her city for Toledo, Ohio.
Whaley spoke to reporters on Monday after an open shooter murdered nine people and left 27 injured over the weekend. One reporter asked Whaley if she heard anything about Trump visiting Dayton following the tragic event.
Whaley responded that she had no knowledge of the president’s plans.
“He didn’t tell us, he said sometime this week,” she said. “I’ve heard that he’s coming Wednesday but I haven’t gotten a call. And, you know, he might be going to Toledo, I don’t know.”
