Many people have questioned whether Donald Trump should be impeached or not. Multiple polls have shown that the majority of Americans want Trump out of office. Although talks of impeachment have emerged constantly, not much has been done to get Trump out of office.
On Friday, Rep. Zoe Lofgren (D-CA) introduced a bill that will force Trump to resign due to his mental stability. It is possible for other lawmakers to remove a president if they see they are mentally unstable to run the country, according to the 25th Amendment.
The 25th Amendment, created in 1967 and used six times since, gives the vice president of the United States and eight Cabinet members the authority to remove the president from the Oval Office if they render he or she is “unable to discharge the powers and duties of his office.”
Trump’s mental stability has been put into question a lot this past week after showing no sort of condemn for the white supremacist rally in Charlottesville.
Something is seriously wrong with President Trump. Why can’t he just condemn Nazis? Unscripted words today show who he really is. Shameful!

“Trump has exhibited an alarming pattern of behavior and speech causing concern that a mental disorder may have rendered him unfit and unable to fulfill his Constitutional duties,” Lofgren wrote in the bill provided to Vox on Friday morning. It goes on to encourage Pence and Trump’s Cabinet “to quickly secure the services of medical and psychiatric professionals to examine the President to assist in their deliberations under the 25th Amendment to determine whether the President suffers from mental disorder or other injury that impairs his abilities and prevents him from discharging his Constitutional duties.”
