Rep. Ted Lieu (D-Calif.) wanted to send Donald Trump a message, and the only way he knew Trump would get it was by posting it on Twitter.
The Democratic lawmaker said in a mocking tweet:
“The only way I will vote to fund the stupid border wall idea of [Donald Trump] is if Russia pays for it,” Lieu tweeted.

Trump said throughout his whole campaign that Mexico would be paying for his proposed border wall. Mexico wasn’t so happy about that and made it clear that they weren’t going to be paying for such wall.
Now, the White House is using blackmail to try to get Democrats to fund the proposed border wall in exchange they will keep key components of the Affordable Care Act. Democrats did not accept the White House’s “offer.”
Dem leader Nancy Pelosi made it clear that they had leverage on them. On Thursday she stated, “we have the leverage and they have the exposure.”
