On Tuesday, YouTube’s headquarters were attacked by an active shooter who shot three people with a handgun before killing herself. Just hours after the shooting happened, Donald Trump Jr. took to Twitter to politicize the event and it didn’t go well.
The shooter was identified as 39-year-old Nasim Aghdam who showed up at the company’s San Bruno, California, campus, where she shot three people before killing herself.
According to a spokesperson for Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital, two of the victims remain in serious and critical conditions, respectively.
It only took a couple of hours for Trump Jr. to make the shooting political. He claimed that if the shooter wasn’t a “liberal Vegan PETA activists” instead of an NRA-supporting mass shooter, Democrats would’ve thrown a fit.
You think there’s any chance whatsoever that a mass shooters hateful Instagram and YouTube channels would be pulled immediately if they were NRA members as opposed to liberal Vegan PETA activists? Asking for a few million friends in the @NRA

According to Slate, Aghdam’s YouTube channel “appeared to promote veganism and animal rights, demonstrate workout routines, inveigh against capitalism, authority, and popular culture, and make bizarre parody music videos.”
