Don Jr. Just Tried Attacking Beto O’Rourke In A Twitter Rant And Failed Miserably
Donald Trump Jr. is just like his father, he enjoys picking a fight on social media only to be trolled by a country that is fed up with them. On Monday, the president’s son took to Twitter to attack Texas Senate Democratic candidate Beto O’Rourke.
Trump Jr. tweeted saying:
“What’s authentic about an Irish guy pretending to be Hispanic? Asking for some friends Texas.”

And Trump Jr. did get his question answered, but not the way he thought. Twitter users decided to blast him for attempting to discredit O’Rourke.
Here are some of the best responses:
He has been called Beto for most of his life. As a native of Texas, it is VERY common for ANYONE with the name Robert to be called Beto. It’s a TEXAS thing, not a Hispanic thing. Also, ethnic arguments are sign one of racism. So, nice job riling up the neo nazi base.

So I guess you also condemn a Canadian-born Hispanic person named Rafael calling himself Ted so as to pander to whites, right? Right?
Or are you going to tell me that Beto and his family decided while he was an infant to call him that so he'd have a political advantage in 2018?

I guess you’d better tell Ted Cruz that his name is Rafael…

I'm sure I can help, but only if you can tell me what's authentic about a celebrity con man and his children pretending to "make things great" while making bank? Asking for a few million friends.

Or a guy who inherited 400 million and pretends he’s self-made? Or a guy who was elected by a minority claiming he won in a landslide? Or a FLOTUS who claimed to graduate college but failed her first class and quit? Who came here illegally & claims to be legit? -Patsolutely Fab

“Beto” is the childhood nickname given to O’Rourke by his friends and neighbors growing up on the border in El Paso, TX.
Perhaps “Ted” is a Canadian nickname given to Cruz in his native Alberta.
Which is more authentic for someone running for Texas Senate?
