The official White House Twitter account released a statement on Friday following Donald Trump’s speech about economic growth. There was just one problem, they misspelled the country’s own name.
The original statement, which was later deleted, read:
“If economic growth continues at this pace, the United Sates (sic) economy will double in size more than 10 years faster than it would have under President Bush or President Obama.”
This is typical of the Trump administration to do. They send out an official statement and later have to delete it due to a grammatical error. Normally it’s Trump himself who tweets grammatically incorrect tweets.
The tweet might have been deleted, but Twitter users still had fun bashing the White House for it.

Your president doesn't know the National Anthem nor does he know how to spell "The United States" (maybe because of his divided mindset)
But yall want to get outraged at a Black man for kneeling to the National Anthem against racial injustice.
"United Sates"
