Evidence Suggests Mike Pence Was Behind ‘Anonymous’ Official Who Trashed Trump In NYT Editorial

On Wednesday, an anonymous White House official wrote an editorial in the New York Times and now every media news outlet is scrambling to find out who was behind the article which called out Donald Trump.

According to Panoply audio producer Dan Bloom, one can find out who wrote simply by reading the wording in the editorial.

Bloom pointed out one word in particular: “lodestar.”

It’s not a word one hears every day and Bloom noted it.

“The word is “LODESTAR.” Note that it comes in the same paragraph praising John McCain. That would rule out flame-throwers like Stephen Miller and Dan Scavino and suggest someone with Senate ties. This reveal is not going to take long,” Bloom tweeted.

So Bloom went on to research who in the White House is known for using such word and one name came up, Vice President Mike Pence.

He writes, “an example pops up of Vice President Mike Pence using the word “lodestar” in a speech at the UN in September 2017.”

Bloom then added, “Two months later, Vice President Mike Pence speaks at the Jack Kemp Leadership Award Dinner. He drops “lodestar” again.”

But it didn’t stop there. Bloom also noted that Pence used the word back in February of this year, “Two more months later (like clockwork,) February 2018. Vice President Mike Pence speaking in Tokyo, alongside Japanese PM Shinzo Abe. Place your bets… another “lodestar.”

Bloom even dug up a speech from 2011 where Pence used the word yet again.

To even further Bloom’s theory, the Times piece begins with a disclaimer that reads: “a senior official in the Trump administration whose identity is known to us and whose job would be jeopardized by its disclosure.”

Bloom goes on to admit that he’s taking a shot in the dark and could be totally wrong, but he brings up a very good point.
