A new report revealed that special counsel Robert Mueller questioned former White House aide Michael Flynn. According to a former Republican Congressman, Flynn handed over the information needed for Mueller to question Donald Trump.
Speaking to CNN’s Jake Tapper, former Congressman and ex FBI Agent Mike Rogers said, “That cooperation that Flynn has been giving to the special counsel likely netted some information of which they have a line of questioning to get answered. It could be about the Russia probe, it could be about activities in the White House — you don’t know what that level of questioning to get down to.”
Rogers went on to insist that the investigation is far from over. He said that although news of Mueller seeking an interview with Trump signals that he’s starting to “wrap up” the interview portion of his investigation, “it doesn’t mean that it’s over.”
A new report on Tuesday revealed that Mueller is now looking to interview Trump personally.
