Former Rep. Joe Walsh (R-IL), who left the Republican Party after Donald Trump became president, called out right-wing conspiracy theorist Rush Limbaugh on Tuesday after he claimed that the coronavirus was invented by the media to “take out” Trump.
Walsh, a tea party conservative who himself used to host a right-wing talk radio program, took to Twitter on Tuesday following Limbaugh’s remarks.
He tweeted saying:
“I was a conservative talk radio for six years. I’m amazed I lasted that long because I could never spew ugly lies and manipulative bullshit like Rush Limbaugh spews. Shame on you Rush. Shame on you.”
