Ex-Prosecutor Just Exposed Bill Barr: ‘Everything Is Over’
MSNBC host Nicolle Wallace welcomed former prosecutor Joyce White Vance on her show on Wednesday to discuss Attorney General Bill Barr’s hearing in front of the Senate where he claimed that the FBI may have “spied” on Donald Trump’s campaign.
Vance noted that Barr had a “perception problem” prior to his hearing and that he lost all credibility.
“I didn’t see anything he did to fix his perception problem,” Wallace said. “Did you?”
“No,” Vance said. “He really didn’t do it. You keep hoping he will, and then he gets these easy questions.”
During the hearing, Barr wasn’t able to answer “yes or no” when asked if he shared the Mueller report with the White House. And as Vance noted, this “continues to damage him.”
“I think we’ll all hold out hope for as long as it takes for us to get the report, that when we see it, we’ll read it and get a clear picture of what the Mueller investigation put together,” Vance added.
“But if that report is deficient, if they hide behind grand jury, and third-party reputation,” she concluded, “then I think everything is done for this attorney general and he’ll have nothing left.”
