Former FBI Director James Comey set the internet abuzz on Friday after posting a tweet that quoted Amos 5:24, which reads, “Let justice roll on like a river, righteousness like a never-failing stream!”

The tweet came shortly after it was reported that former Trump National Security Adviser Michael Flynn pleaded guilty to lying to the FBI on Friday,
Comey was fired by Trump as FBI director this past May. He testified in front of Congress that President Trump had asked him to “let go” over the agency’s investigation into Flynn. Comey also said that Trump had demanded an oath of loyalty to him.
By the time Trump asked Comey to drop its investigation into Flynn this past February, the FBI had already discovered that Flynn had lied to its agents about a conversation he had with former Russian ambassador Sergey Kislyak.
