Fed-Up: Obama Blasts Republican Do-Nothing Congress In Weekly Address

In this morning’s weekly address, president Obama blasted the Republican do-nothing for stalling bipartisan priorities, like approving funding to confront the Zika virus, approving Merrick Garland for the Supreme Court, passing criminal justice reform, attacking the opioids epidemic, funding Joe Biden’s cancer moonshot, and passing a budget that will make sure all of America’s priorities are funded without resorting to shutdown threats and last-minute gimmicks.

He closed by urging listeners to contact their congressional representatives to get them moving on these issues. “And if they still refuse to do their jobs,” he said, “well, you know what to do in November.”
