Federal Judge Blocks Trump And Cohen’s Request To Review FBI-Seized Files Before Prosecutors Do
On Monday, U.S. District Court Judge Kimba Wood rejected a motion by Donald Trump and his attorney Michael Cohen to block the FBI from reviewing files obtained in last week’s raid.
Trump and Cohen tried to stop prosecutors from “immediately reviewing a trove of materials seized in F.B.I. raids last week,” according to The New York Times.
The Times reported that although Wood blocked Cohen’s attempt to stop prosecutors from seeing the files, she “signaled that she was considering appointing a special master to assist prosecutors” to oversee the FBI investigation into Trump’s attorney.
