Former Fox News Host Accused Ailes Of Using ‘Secret Cameras’ To Watch Female Workers Undress
On Tuesday, a new report revealed that former Fox News host Andrea Tantaros accused former Fox News CEO Roger Ailes of using secret surveillance to watch women at Fox News change clothes.
Axios reported on Tuesday that the claim was revealed as part of Tantaros’ sexual harassment lawsuit against the conservative news network.
“Ailes had a CCTV system that allowed him to see inside Fox News offices,” the filing says, “most Fox female talent…disrobed daily.”
According to the lawsuit, Ailes also installed spyware on Tantaros’ cellphone “that enabled [Fox] to turn on the microphone and camera of the device at will without the knowledge” of the employee.
Fox News denied the former employee’s claim in a statement.
“None of the four lawyers currently representing Tantaros in the action signed her new complaint, which she purports to have written herself,” the statement said. “Her outlandish claims lack any factual basis.”
