Former Trump Adviser Sebastian Gorka Wanted For Arrest: Report
An arrest warrant has been issued against former Trump top adviser Sebastian Gorka. The warrant was issued by the Hungarian government, Politico reports.
Citing a Hungarian police website, the news outlet reports that the warrant has been active since September 17, 2016 — which means it was in place for the entirety of Gorka’s tenure at the White House.
Hungarian news website 444 revealed the warrant is for “firearm or ammunition abuse” but gives few other details.
Gorka responded on Twitter by lashing out at BuzzFeed, which reported on the warrant Thursday, saying it should have been given a “#FAKEY award” from Trump.
In 2016, Gorka was stopped by police after allegedly trying to bring a handgun onto a plane at Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport. He has been outspoken about his love for firearms, telling Recoil magazine last year that he “carries a pistol and a knife every day.”
Gorka declined a BuzzFeed request for comment. “Don’t waste your time,” he said.
