President Obama’s former White House photographer decided to upload a picture on Friday after the Trump administration announced that they weren’t going to release the visitor logs.
Pete Souza uploaded this photo on Instagram with the caption:
“Hmm. Bet he was noted in the visitor logs.”
The Trump administration made an announcement early Friday morning that it would reverse Obama’s practice of making the White House visitor logs public.
White House communications director Mike Dubke said in a statement that “the grave national security risks and privacy concerns of the hundreds of thousands of visitors annually,” is the primary reason for the decision.
Souza has gained a following since Trump’s inauguration for timely Instagram posts from Obama’s administration.
