Fox News Broadcast Ruined As Crowd Chants ‘F— Trump’ During Live Segment At French Sports Bar
A crowd of patrons ruined a Fox News live segment on the U.S. Women’s national team winning their fourth FIFA Women’s World Cup on Sunday by gleefully chanting “F— Trump” as a Fox News reporter tried to deliver the news.
“History has just been made. We are here at a sports bar in Lyon, France,” the reporter says, according to a clip shared on Twitter. He then almost asks viewers to listen to what the crowd is chanting, before getting a better listen.
The U.S. team beat clinched its back-to-back title by beating the Netherlands 2-0, with second-half goals from Megan Rapinoe and Christen Press during the game at Stade de Lyon in France.
Several Members of the team have been critical of President Trump.
Megan Rapinoe said she’d reject an invitation to the White House. President Trump fired back that “Megan should WIN first before she TALKS!” Well, she did just that.
Meanwhile, Rapinoe accepted an invitation from Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) to visit the House of Representatives, ahead of the team’s win.
While helping her team to victory, Rapinoe was awarded the Adidas Golden Boot, an award given to the top scoring player in the tournament. She is the second American woman to ever win the award, ESPN reports.
Soccer star Ali Krieger recently criticized Trump, as well, saying she refused to “respect a man that warrants no respect,” regarding Trump.
