During a panel discussion on Bret Baier’s Fox News show on Friday, the group blasted Donald Trump for being more concerned about being roasted by comedians than the country’s national security.
“Weekly Standard” editor in chief Steve Hayes said he would like it if Trump took things more seriously.
“Rhetorically, the president has not gone after Vladimir Putin or raised alarms about Vladimir Putin in the way he regards as people he considers true threats like Alec Baldwin,” Hayes said.
Earlier Friday morning Trump took to Twitter to rant about Alec Baldwin who frequently impersonates him on Saturday Night Live.
Alec Baldwin, whose dying mediocre career was saved by his terrible impersonation of me on SNL, now says playing me was agony. Alec, it was agony for those who were forced to watch. Bring back Darrell Hammond, funnier and a far greater talent!

Trump has yet to say anything about the recent nuke threats Putin made earlier this week.
Even Fox’s Howard Kurtz was shocked that the president didn’t “respond to this threat even in some way.” He said that the “silence was kind of deafening.”
