Fox News In Big Trouble For Colluding With Trump To Distract From Russia Scandal
Fox News has come under fire after court documents revealed that the right-wing propaganda network colluded with President Trump on creating a fake news story to distract from the Russia scandal.
According to a new lawsuit filed Tuesday, Fox News and Trump of working together on a fake story about murdered DNC staffer Seth Rich.
Fox is denied its involvement, releasing the following statement:
“The accusation that FoxNews.com published Malia Zimmerman’s story to help detract from coverage of the Russia collusion issue is completely erroneous. The retraction of this story is still being investigated internally and we have no evidence that Rod Wheeler was misquoted by Zimmerman. Additionally, FOX News vehemently denies the race discrimination claims in the lawsuit — the dispute between Zimmerman and Rod Wheeler has nothing to do with race.”
If there is evidence that they did collude with Trump to distract from the Russia investigation, it will damage the network beyond repair with non-Trump fan former casual viewer that made Fox number one in the cable news ratings for more than a decade.
Fox News’s audience is shrinking by the day, and the unpopularity of Trump is driving viewers away from the dubious network.
With every day that passes, it appears Donald Trump isn’t just destroying himself, his family business, and the Republican Party. The President is also taking down Fox News.
