Fox News Keeps Getting Trolled By Fake Kavanaugh Twitter Account – And They Believe It’s Actually Him
The social media staffer at Fox News appears to be having a hard time telling the difference between the real and the fake accounts of Donald Trump’s Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh.
The Fox News Twitter account @FoxNewsOpinion was first fooled when it retweeted a few tweets from an account named “Law & Crime” claiming to be Kavanaugh, which has since been suspended.
Prior to being deleted, Law & Crime noted that the account only began tweeting as soon as Trump announced his SCOTUS nominee at 9 p.m. on Monday night.
“I am grateful to President Trump and I am humbled by his confidence in me. Thank you, President. No president has ever consulted more widely or talked with more people from more backgrounds to seek input about a Supreme Court nomination. #SCOTUS” the account tweeted.
