Fox News Pundit Jesse Watters To Divorce After Being Caught Cheating With Employee: Report
The wife of Fox News host Jesse Watters has filed for divorce after learning that Watters had an affair with Emma DiGiovine, his 25-year-old employee, the New York Daily News reports.
Watters’ wife, Noelle Watters, filed for divorce last October and that Watters informed Fox News of his relationship with his 25-year-old employee, the news outlet noted.
The network then transferred Emma DiGiovine to work on a different program, according to the Daily News. Sources told the newspaper that there were rampant rumors around the network about the affair between DiGiovine and Watters, and the two went public with their relationship by posting pictures of their dates including a trip to the Caribbean.
Watters, who on Monday had dinner with President Donald Trump—himself the target of sexual harassment allegations by more than a dozen women—joins an ignominious list of prominent Fox News men connected to salacious claims.
It’s founder, Roger Ailes, resigned in July 2016 after allegations misogyny and sexual harassment emerged.
Watters’ mentor, former Fox News host Bill O’Reilly, was forced to resign last April amid reports that he settled several sexual harassment lawsuits. The New York Times later revealed that even after O’Reilly arranged a $32 million settlement over sexual harassment allegations involving a former Fox News analyst, the network renewed the then-top-rated host’s contract.
Jesse Watters and his soon-to-be-former wife Noelle Watters have twin daughters together, according to the report.
