Trump Has Late Night Meltdown Over a Meme Shared By Bette Midler
For months, several high-profile mental healthcare professionals have stated that Donald Trump is “unwell,” and that his family and staffers should stage an “intervention.” Well, tonight, Trump decided to remind everyone that what psychologists are saying about his deteriorating mental health is precisely correct.
On Monday, actress and legendary singer Bette Midler tweeted a Donald Trump meme which included a quote that sounded exactly like something Trump would say, but turned out not to be Trump’s words. When Midler realized this, she deleted it and apologized to her followers for her mistake, as any responsible person would. The whole thing was quickly forgotten. But a day and a half later, in the midst of his UK trip, Trump decided to throw a complete tantrum about it, at around 1:30am local time.
“Washed up psycho @BetteMidler was forced to apologize for a statement she attributed to me that turned out to be totally fabricated by her in order to make “your great president” look really bad,” Trump wrote on Twitter. “She got caught, just like the Fake News Media gets caught. A sick scammer!” To be clear, Midler did not “fabricate” the quote; she merely mistakenly believed it was real.”

Donald Trump is scheduled to attend an event commemorating the 75th anniversary of D-Day. Countless Americans and allied soldiers gave their lives that day to save the world. But instead of focusing on that, Trump is ranting about Bette Midler.
Shall Congress invoke the 25th Amendment?
