Golden State Warriors Just Responded To Trump’s White House Invite
NBA champions, The Golden State Warriors, just released a statement saying that “no decision” has been made regarding President Trump’s invitation to the White House to celebrate their NBA title.
The team issued the statement after the players voted unanimously against making a White House trip.
Warriors coach Steve Kerr expressed his disappointment with the president, saying that Trump regularly used “racist, misogynist, insulting words” at campaign rallies.
“Today is all about celebrating our championship,” The Warriors said in a statement issued Tuesday. “The organization would make a final decision when and if necessary,” the statement added.
