GOP Candidate Who Complained About McCains Timing Of Death Gets Shredded For ‘Cancer’ Tweet
Arizona Republican candidate Kelli Ward who complained about John McCain’s death coming at a bad time and hurting her candidacy is now facing even more backlash after tweeting that “political correctness is like a cancer.”
Shortly after McCain’s death, a Ward staffer posted a conspiracy theory that the announcement of McCain’s death was timed to distract from Ward’s statewide bus tour.
Ward followed up her staffer’s comments by saying, “I think they wanted to have a particular narrative that was negative to me” when they announced McCain’s passing.
On Monday she received further backlash after tweeting:
“Political correctness is like a cancer!”
Here are some of the responses Ward received:
How does it feel to be so freakish that you make Mike Cernovich uncomfortable?

You told yourself "Hold my beer" before you tweeted this, didn't you?🤦♀️

And cancer is just an underhanded trick a rival politician used to steal attention away from your bus tour

Nice timing. Add metaphors to the long list of things you suck at.

Wow, way to hit rock bottom as a decent human being, then pick up a shovel and start digging even deeper.

Kelli Ward, I think you have just cost yourself the votes of every decent human being.
